Ready for a Product Launch?

Submitted by on February 12, 2014 – 10:00 amNo Comment

You have worked endlessly and tirelessly to create your new service or product and now that it’s finally ready, you want to make sure it gets as much exposure as possible. So what is the next plan of action? Choosing the date for your product launch. How do you do that? Unfortunately, there is no such thing as the perfect moment to launch your new service or product and there isn’t a one size fits all solution. However, here are two things you can do to get your product launch headed in the right direction.

1.)  Choose the right season. According to JigsawBox, there are two times of the year when your service or product has the lbest chance for exposure: January and September. The reason that January is a good month is that most people are still very enthusiastic about their personal New Year’s resolutions, such as making a positive change in their lives, and businesses are trying to kick off the year strong. September is also  a good time for a product launch; whether one recognizes it or not, the back to school season has a way of making people feel like they should regroup and get back on track with their goals.

2.) Plan your product launch around an industry’s event. At this point, no one knows your market better than you do. Think about possible trade shows where you could display your product or a networking event where you could introduce your business’ new service.

There is no better time to get started than now! The more you wait for the perfect moment, the more opportunities could be passing you by.
